What is the hindu name to escape rebirth?
Moksha or Mukthi are only said to the people after death. Generally, we say this ''He got moksha'' or ''He got mukthi''. so, both moksh or mukthi are the creations of people and believes that the soul reached or got moksha or mukthi. But, that is not the way to escape rebirth. you exactly said that to escape rebirth is based on ones deeds alone. That is we call generally karma. Karma is nothing but duty. The other way to escape rebirth is called ''bhakthi'' means surrendering to God. Unshakable faith, a trust, a belief on God. Even a bakthi alone is the way to escape ? no. bhakthi is one of the ways. one soul asked the God, ''oh, Almighty you gave moksha to that person whose profession is to kill goats, hen, **** and catching the fish etc., for which God answered ''yes, it is his profession, but he saved his parents, he did duties to the family, he helped many by a portion of profit to others. Totally, he divided the profit sharing them to parents, sons/daughters, wife and helping. so, one's action will give benefit of getting ''no rebirth''. how ? The world is a stage, and we are all actors and acresses. we are performing our characters in the world stage. if we perform well, we get appreciation and if we did not the director of the stage will ask to rehearse again and again. so, if we perform well, there will be no rehearsal and if not, we will get rebirths until good actions. ok?
Reply:For the first one the name is Dharma. It's a Sanskrit word which means the duties one must perform according to one's own nature and occupation. By following your Dharma, or prescribed duties, you attain Moksha or liberation. The totality of one's deeds is divided into good karma and bad karma. Good karma is Punya. And bad karma is Papa. Examples of good karma are: contributing to a charity, volunteering for a good cause, helping someone in need. Examples of bad karma are: causing suffering and anxiety to others, lying, etc. For accumulating good karma you enjoy and for accumulating bad karma you suffer.
Reply:The ancient system of India was 'varnasrama'. That means the division of the four types of job and men were to follow any one according to their IQ and ability and learning.

1.Learning and teaching--adhered by Brahmins.

2.Defending the nation, kings, warriors,soldiers--forte of Kshatriyas.3. Trade and commerce practiced by Vysyas.

4.Labour force--followed by Shudras.

The duties assigned to each one and their responsibilities are called Dharma. This word can be translated in many ways.Righteousness, Donation, Contribution,Way of life etc.,Following ones own duties and responsibilities for the benefit of the larger section of the society itself give a person salvation, that is, Moksha, the place in the lotus feet of God.If an Atma attains the lotus feet of God , then there is no rebirth.

Moksha,Mukhthi,Sivaloka prapthi,Vaikuntaprapthi are all diiferent words for Salvation and avoiding rebirth.Swargaloka

(heaven)prapthi will not end the rebith. Once the fruits of good action is over people will be reborn.

So Mukhthi or Moksha will not represent

going to heaven(Swarga)
Reply:Moksha is when you break the cycle of reincarnation for Hinduism and rebirth for Buddhists, Dharma is the duties and responsibilities and the totalitity of one's deeds in Hinduism I think is Karma but you might want to check the glossary in the back of your book.
