I'm looking for a good, modern, uncommon hindu name for my baby boy. Preferred starting letters R, Plz Reply
Considering most people here aren't Indian and/or Hindu the answers are likely to be scarce and not the most informed. I basically just checked a site that claims to feature 'modern Indian names', but since I'm not Indian I have no idea whether they are. Here are a few that appealed to me however (see link for more):
Rafat [elevation]
Rajas [mastery, fame, pride]
Ranjit [victorious]
Rehman [merciful]
Roshan
Rushil [charming]
Reply:Ranjit... reminds the fierce rajput king.
Reply:why ask about a hindu name when 99% of people here are americans.
