Why Hindu / Muslim killing the animals like goat and others in the name of religion?

I know nothing is written in any religious book to celebrate your religious function to killing the animals like goat and some others and if it is written then show to people when we can never make any thing like animal too then what is right in the Muslim I like to say that in killing the animals if any one kill any human being and celebrate then either its good or bad and why it is not applicable on animals who are too unable to speak too thanks pl. religious people and head of religious centre reply and show where and in which page it is written to celebrate after killing animals

you are not clear Mr. its not killing this is usage these all thing created for men so men has right to use it why you eat vegitale or fruits they are live too so why you kill them with your teeth obvously for food you must eat for healthy so these animals (some not) for human eat and human benifits and god says that these all thing for you so eat and enjoy and say thank you GOD

There are also places where killing an animal is just celebrated for the fact that after doing so, there is going to be food on the table for some time.

Reply:Muslims sacrifice goats to commemorate when Abraham(pbuh) was willing to sacrifice his son for God. When they sacrifice the goats a prayer is said in God's name and then the meat is distributed among relatives and the poor and hungry.
